Lord Kartikeya, also known as Murugan, Skanda, and Subrahmanya, is the Hindu god of war. He is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and the brother of Lord Ganesha. Kartikeya is worshipped primarily in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu.
